Mounds and mounds of Hounds Abound

Jed and Cleetus the Coon Hound on a Bacon Quest

Stanley Park

Here we are at Stanley Park. The Dogs love it here. History states that the Haida buried Bacon throughout British Columbia so Jed is in his Hey Day...perhaps it is just the moist and rotting humis of the forest floor. Vancouver is considered the most dog friendly city in North America.

Regi keeps winning prizes for draws she has entered. On Wednesday we will go to the Opus hotel (Cher stays there when in town and lots of other celebs) . Today she won another gift certificate from Earls. i wish some of that would rub off. More posts to follow in a couple of days and then off to the island for 2 days.

Jah Guide! Rasta Corny ceasing transmission until the solar, magnetic interference subsides.

I bet you didn't know that I was such a mean mother Blogger!

Cheers

Vancouver in Febuary

We arrived in vancouver 3 days ago and have been doing all the fun things that downtown Vancouver has to offer. Today we went to Granville Island on the water taxi and bummed around. There was a funny guy singing old 1920's songs like paper moon and on the sunny side of the street. We also got some fresh salmon from a fisherman which we just ate...when in Rome!

Yesterday we took the mutts to the endowment lands beside the university and had a beautiful rain forest walk. Needless to say that was a highlight. There was a dog that looked like jed Extra-Large. He was a coon hound named Cleetus. It is funny how hounds get hound names.

The day before that we went to the totem poles (scrotum pails we called them) in Stanley park.

It has been +8 C plus and sunny since we got here...Sorry! Saskatchewanites.
This is a pic of a famous actor who Regi says looks like me...You decide. His name is Colin Furth and played Mr. Darcy in the Pride and Prejudice movie.

celbrities abroad

hey guys and gals;

you are in issan province? that is really cool. if you get a chance to travel by the mekong river which is the border with laos they have excellent french coffee and croissants and bagguettes. enjoy your celebrity status. a good way to keep healthy is to eat yoghurt with your fresh fruit and granola as it helps to keep your good bacteria winning over the foreign bacteria which helps you to gain trust in your farts. do they have bacon there? (jed talking)

cheers
